A disgrace !

Got one star because it is not possible to give less. I am a subscriber, and quite unable to download my issues. Are they walking to my iPad? Please, fix this as soon as possible. HBR deserves better than that.

Not able to download issues on iPad or iPhone . Called on international phone number to ask for help. No help at all. This is a shame for such a useful review

Again : bugs, bugs, bugs

For years, this apps does not work properly : the former issues are not synchronized. Most of the times you have to erase the app and download it again (but it does not always work). Anyway you wonder how the technical team of HBR can be so inefficient. Unbelievable.

Terrible app ...

The articles in HBR are worth the read, but do yourself a favor and get the print version. This app is little more than a PDF with zero functionality. Hard to believe to see something so badly executed in 2016 by one of the leading business journals (which btw often has articles on "digital" trends).

Excellent Business, Management & Leadership Magazine

Best business, management & leadership magazine with top-notch articles, good references and mix of free and paid contents so you could have a good idea of whats behind the paying-wall or interact with the comments. Some defaults to fix in this early app : new editions dont remove the badge from hbr icon, app is a bit sluggish and not as well presented yet like top-editions like Wired. Big plus however is that you can copy & paste some texts.

...why is it impossible to buy the june issue ?

What happened to the previous version

The new version is a disaster. We can only download the magazines in pdf format. The previous version allowed us to browse through the articles in real time with the same capabilities than the hbr.org on a browser. Why this regression????

Disappointed!

No app for iphone but only mobile web page No more free downloads, I cannot read articles and main titles Even preview is not available ! I bought a online HBR magazine on iPad and I still cannot see the content. I am obliged to block the payment Whats going on????!!!!

Stay Away !

This new version is a nightmare. Not working at all, impossible to retrieve my past purchases and current subscription issues. Customer service is not responding to email. Im an international subscriber for more than 7 years and Im really disappointed. Stay away from this new version of the app.

It doesnt work!!

It doesnt work!! Every time I try to login I get a login failure message even though Im an all access subscriber!! Im just disappointed by that.

Problem while downloading a magazine

I bought a magazine through this app and it simply does not download it as supposed to. I have tried downloading it many times but it doesnt work. I keep facing a message that says a problem gas occured and I should restart the app. I also couldnt easily find a support page where I could get a solution for my problem. I really hope somebody will get it fixed.

June Edition doesnt work

The June review doesnt work. Ive tried to delete and download it again but couldnt manage to read the whole magazine. I can read the first pages but from one of the features onwards the app crashs. To be fair Apple will refund my money but it does not reduce my disapointment.

Back to the programming team - awfully unusable

Just switched to the ipad version ( instead of hardcopy). But the app is hardly usable: - very slooooooooooow in downloading issues, opeining issues, navigating in the app. When an issue is finally open the reading and swiping is ok. Sometimes page build up is irritatingly slow though - nice in issue multimedia features - if they only worked. In the jan/feb issue is crashed on me opening the burberry ceo video and 9 of 10 times i tried to oepn the top 100 ceo interactive browsing feature - now it crashed again when i was trying to read an article (not aware that it had multimedia) In the same time i would normally flick through the hardcopy and browse what intests my i have hardly been able to navigate 1/3 of the mag Notnthe productivity increase i would expect from HBS I use a 64 GB Ipad on a fast wlan.

Keep on going

In general great app! I wish to have the following improvements in the next release: - graphics in HD quality - zoom in function of the text and graphics as that available in the Chinese version of HBR App - highlight and notes functions as in Kindle and iBooks would be helpful

Very, very, very basic. No markers available. No comments possible. You cannot even sent articles via email. This is useless since it is clearly a step back. I am thinking of terminating my subscription

A truly awful piece of software

What happened? No functionality. No search. No interaction. No sharing. I will not renew my subcription, and I suspect that this is the intention of the app. This can only have been designed with such a purpose.

Lost in translation

No idea where the original and innovative app went. This one feels like 1999. :(

Lost all my magazines = lost €355!

I couldnt be more disappointed with the HBR-app and the HBR customer service than I am! I have spend over €355 on in-app magazine subscriptions. With the new update the look and feel became terrible. Worst thing is, that I am not able to access and sync my purchased magazines anymore. HBR wants me to buy them again! Customer Service is not helpful - even when I forward them a clear statement from Apple describing that HBR’s app is the problem. How ironic coming from an organization that writes business articles which doesnt learn/do what they advise. Again, with this new version, I am not able to sync my subscription! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

What went wrong with HBR?

I enjoyed the previous app. It made use of the tablet capabilities. Really great. But now? A PDF-viewer? That is truly awful an a gigantic step back. It was a huge downdate. I am extremely unhappy with it.

poor application...

because of poor application upgrade practice/process I lost all my previously downloaded issues on my ipad. Despite my warnings, e-mails nothing has changed. Now I hardly signed in application. but I cannot restore my previous purchases... application freezes... Moreover, I dont receive hardcopy of journal last 3-4 months, but I keep paying!! unbelievably poor customer service...hard to believe but legendary HBR crushed...
